Within the EU4SKILLS Program European Union will allocate in Ukraine EUR 58 mln for vocational education development including infrastructure modernization, equipment purchasing, centers of excellence creation, changes in educational content and training for craftsmen and teachers and development of new educational standards as well. EUR 35 mln of this sum will be spent directly for infrastructure modernization, i. e. construction, repair and equipment. The rest of the sum will be spent on modernization of education, training for teachers and craftsmen, etc.
Today, on May 7, 2019, presentation of competitive selection of regions for project implementation on centers of excellence creation (on the base of vocational education institutions) is being held in Kyiv. Five regions, winners of the selection, will gain financing for implementation of mentioned projects from European donors (Germany, Finland, Poland and Estonia). Wish Kherson region a victory!
