ESTABLISHMENT OF JOINT UKRAINIAN-UZBEK AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES IN UZBEKISTAN
On January 21, 2021, at 11:00 Kyiv time, a video conference will be held in order to study the possibility of creating joint agricultural enterprises in Uzbekistan for the production of animal feed and the use of land resources in Ukraine for the production of meat and dairy products.
Due to the rapidly growing population of Uzbekistan (as of 01.10.2020 – 34.8 million people, and according to UN forecasts in 2050, the population of Uzbekistan will be more than 41 million people), ensuring the country’s food security is one of the priority areas of leadership state. Significant soil degradation, insufficient amount of pastures, limited water resources encourage the search for partners-suppliers of agricultural products.
The creation of joint Ukrainian-Uzbek agricultural holdings can be a promising area of bilateral cooperation and will help to attract foreign direct investment from Uzbekistan to the Ukrainian economy, significantly strengthen bilateral economic and political interaction.
We invite the leading Ukrainian agro-industrial enterprises to participate, which are interested in creating joint Ukrainian-Uzbek enterprises and attracting additional investments and creating prerequisites for increasing the volume of export of products to Uzbekistan.
The format of the meeting is online. Online meetings will take place using the ZOOM system. A link to the webinar room will be sent to you by email the day before the event.
